Arizona Public Media (AZPM) seeks an enthusiastic professional to join the development team as the Senior Associate Director of Development. The Senior Associate Director of Development assists the Director of Development in the coordination and implementation of all development activities in support of AZPM. The primary responsibility is to identify, qualify, cultivate, and solicit donors to secure major philanthropic gifts.
The successful candidate will spend most of their time regularly visiting individual donors and corporate and foundation executives to build relationships and ask for support of AZPM, targeting initial gifts of $25,000 and above. This position is a member of the University Alumni & Development Program (UADP) and subject to management by AZPM and the University of Arizona Foundation as specified in the Development Services and Asset Management Agreement dated August 2016. AZPM is an editorially independent, member-supported, non-profit public media organization serving Southern Arizona, and is provided as a community service of the University of Arizona (UA). AZPM provides three public television program services, four radio program services, online, and educational outreach activities to benefit audiences in all or portions of eleven Arizona counties.
